Think of this as something akin to Oprah's Favorite Things...except that I've never actually *seen* a Favorite Things episode of Oprah...but really, that's entirely beside the point. :-) Or, perhaps, a products/items equivalent of the Helpful Hints thread. If you find something you think is just really spiffy and others might enjoy it too, share it here!

Mine is Bath & Body Works' Pillow Mist. I picked it up a few weeks ago somewhat on a whim and as a treat for myself, and I love it! I got the "Stress Relief: Eucalyptus Spearmint" scent. I think it was about $10, and while I normally balk at paying $10 for Bath and Body Works products, I think this one was well worth it! You spray a couple spritzes on your pillow at night before going to bed, and at two spritzes a day from a 4oz bottle...I think it's going to last a loooong time!

Of course, if you are sensitive to fragrances, it's not really the thing for you. But if you like such things, I love falling asleep each night to it! :-)

I think I may have mentioned this once in the book thread. These are my new found pleasure:

http://www.playaway.com/

Our library carries them and they are great. I used them when I walking, shopping, doing housework and other such mindless activities.

The pillow spray sounds like something I'd enjoy, but not my husband! lol

And the playaway thing-a-ma-bob looks pretty nifty, too!

My favourite pair of shoes for the last number of years (don't worry, I replace them regularly!) has been the Riviera shoe from Earth Spirit (I like them in brown). They're very comfy and add a little extra snap to a pair of jeans or khakis. And did I mention they're tremendously comfortable?

Those shoes look really comfy, Cross! I like some of the summer shoes too. Do you find them in the store, or can you order them online?

Wal-Mart sells them here, so I'm guessing they would States-side as well. Though I saw a few styles on the Web site I haven't seen in my local store so I may try an online order.

Sister2 has begun a love affair with . . .

http://www.getswivelsweeperg2.com/Defau ... AJA&bhcp=1

the Swivel Sweeper as seen on TV, only 2 payments of 19.99, buy one get one free, 2 minisweepers for crumbs on counter included. But it really works. She bought one for Mom (or gave her the "get one free" one) and I used it. It's handy dandy, so much easier than dragging out the vacuum or a broom 'n dust pan, and really does pick up stuff off the kitchen floor. It works on carpeting too, although it removed quite a bit of fiber from Mom's cheap oriental bedroom rug, but that could just be the rug. It's for those little jobs in between vacuuming or sweeping. I recommend it. And it's just sooooooooooooooooo infomercial!

Ah, now I want one of those, Ams! It does look like it's very convenient!

My mom picked up a some shower gel and lotion for me from Bath and Body Works when she was in Great Falls a little while ago and I love it! It's their White Citrus scent and it's just right, I think, for the summer months in particular. :)

A few weeks ago, I picked up these walking pants at Old Navy. I swear they may well be the most comfortable pants I've ever owned! I'm not sure what it is about them that's just that smidge more comfy than the average pajama or workout pants, but they are! I've been wearing them as PJs since the day I bought them, and I absolutely love them!

I have a similar pair from Old Navy, swede, (mine have a drawstring waist) and I love them, too! Soooo comfy!
