Cheeseburger Casserole

to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef or turkey
Chopped onion (if desired) 1 or 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 to 2 cups shredded cheese Frozen crinkle cut potato fries (do not thaw)
Cook ground beef (or turkey). I usually add some onions and cook them with the meat.
Put this in the bottom of a casserole dish.
Add a can (maybe 2, depending on how much meat you have and the size of the casserole dish) of cream of mushroom soup on top of the meat and spread evenly.
Add a cup or two of shredded cheese (more or less, depending on how much you want) and spread it over the soup.
Then, on top, add FROZEN crinkle cut french fries.
Bake this at 400º for 35 to 45 minutes, or until french fries are slightly browned.
I serve this with a dollop of sour cream mixed in, you can also add hamburger toppings (ketchup, pickles, mustard, etc.). If you want to get adventurous, add crumbled bacon on top of the soup.
