Apple Pie Cake

1/2 cup butter
1 tsp baking soda
3 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 cups apples (diced)
1 egg
2 TB boiling water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup walnuts (chopped fine)
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour

Mix all ingredients adding the apples and nuts last.

Pour into a 9" greased pie tin.

Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 40 minutes.

Cut as a pie.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.....good and easy!
